Provider and scope

The checkpointsofia.info website presents CheckPoint Sofia and provides educational information, details of services, prices and the team, and contact links. 206286329, with registered office and business address: 111 Tsar Samuil Street, Vazrazhdane District, Sofia 1000, Bulgaria. The company is represented by its manager, Elena Todorova Birindzhieva. Email: info@checkpointsofia.info. Contact telephone recorded in the Commercial Register: 02 952 33 99.

These terms govern use of the website. The law, information provided about the service and the necessary informed consent apply to particular medical care. Visiting a page does not in itself create a treatment contract, patient record or payment obligation.

Informational purpose

Medical materials and interactive tools provide guidance. They do not diagnose, issue prescriptions or replace an individual assessment. Neither searching nor selecting symptoms establishes or rules out an infection. Please also read “Medical information”.

The website and general email address are not an emergency service. In an immediate life-threatening situation, call 112. If you may recently have been exposed to HIV, seek immediate medical assessment for PEP; do not wait for an email reply or a routine available appointment.

Booking and receiving results

Booking and results buttons lead to the external MedSoft system. Check the address, the chosen specialist's details, the date, location and confirmation in that system. Opening a button on our website does not constitute a confirmed appointment.

To change or cancel an appointment, use the options stated in the confirmation or contact the centre. These terms do not introduce fictitious no-show fees, automatic payments or a cancellation deadline that has not been announced in advance and does not apply to the particular service.

Results are accessed using the secure procedure specified for the service. Do not publish access codes, results or identity documents in public channels. A competent specialist should be involved in the medical interpretation of a result.

Services and prices

Describing a topic in the educational section does not mean that every test, vaccine, medicine or procedure mentioned is offered at the centre. Service availability, the appropriate specialist, preparation, timing and price should be checked in the relevant current information and when booking.

Before a paid service is performed, you should receive information about the amount payable and what it includes. Currency, conditions for free campaigns and any additional costs must be clearly stated. A general reference to these terms on the website does not provide a basis for a hidden fee.

If there is a discrepancy or an obvious technical error, contact us for clarification before the service. Correcting the website does not permit unilateral removal of statutory rights that have already arisen or a change to an agreed price without an applicable basis. Turnaround times for results may depend on the method, sample, laboratory and need for further testing; specific information is provided with the service.

Permitted use

You may read, share links and use the materials for personal information. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to another person's account or data, distribute malicious code, bypass protection or deliberately disrupt website availability. Automated extraction must not violate applicable law, content rights or normal operation.

If you notice a vulnerability or accidentally see someone else's data, stop accessing it and notify us at info@checkpointsofia.info with the minimum necessary description. Do not copy or send unnecessary patient data as evidence.

Copyright and external materials

Texts, photographs, graphics, the logo and other materials are protected to the extent provided by law. Rights may belong to the company or to identified external authors and partners. Publication of material on the website does not mean that all rights have been transferred to CheckPoint Sofia.

Quotation and use permitted by law remain allowed subject to the relevant conditions. For reproduction beyond those conditions, commercial use or use of photographs of people, request permission from the relevant rights holder. Do not present a modified medical text as an official, unchanged recommendation from the centre.

External links

Links to MedSoft, YouTube, maps, social networks and medical sources may lead to services with separate rules and data processing. Citing a source does not guarantee every future publication or function of that source. Our responsibilities for our own activities do not disappear simply because a provider is used.

Availability and liability

We maintain the website with the aim of providing accurate information and accessible operation. Technical interruptions, delays in updates or errors may occur. If there is a problem, use the centre's contact details; do not delay necessary medical care because the website is unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law, including applicable patient and consumer rights. You are not required to waive a right to compensation for unlawful conduct. The distinction between general information and a medical consultation does not relieve the provider of responsibility for a medical service actually provided.

Personal data and minors

Data processing is described in “Privacy”, and technical storage in “Cookies”. Use of the website does not constitute blanket consent for health data or advertising. Medical care for minors is provided in accordance with statutory informed-consent rules and applicable exceptions; these terms do not replace them.

Questions and disputes

To report an error, make a complaint or offer a suggestion, write to info@checkpointsofia.info. Identify the page or service, date and a reply contact without unnecessary sensitive data. A complaint to us is not a mandatory prerequisite for contacting a competent authority or court.

The laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and relevant European Union law apply. The jurisdiction of authorities and courts is determined by law; no contractually exclusive court is imposed that removes mandatory consumer protection. For a personal data dispute, you may contact the Commission for Personal Data Protection, and for a medical care dispute, the competent health authority.

Changes

These terms are updated when functions, organisation or the law change. The current version is published with a date. Changes do not automatically apply retrospectively to a service already agreed and do not cancel acquired rights.
