Which sample do you need?
Testing urine or a vaginal, cervical or urethral sample does not rule out infection in the throat or rectum. The sample is chosen according to anatomy and the specific test. Depending on exposure, throat and/or rectal swabs may be needed. If you have symptoms, do not wait — seek medical care. Test timing and repeats are agreed individually.
