Yes. If you have a cervix, continue recommended screening. An HPV test detects the virus; cervical cytology checks cell changes. Vaccination replaces neither.

It protects against HBV infection. People without adequate protection may benefit, based on vaccination history and clinical assessment. It does not treat established hepatitis B.

Blood tests can indicate current infection, previous infection or immunity. A clinician interprets HBsAg, anti-HBs and total anti-HBc; a negative HBsAg alone does not establish vaccine protection.

Seek medical assessment immediately. Depending on exposure and immunity, vaccination and specific immunoglobulin may be needed. Do not wait for symptoms.

Not everyone needs an antibody check after vaccination. For particular risks or weakened immunity, a clinician decides on testing and further doses.
